Our mission.
Newburyport Youth Field Hockey (NYFH) is dedicated to creating a fun and inclusive environment for field hockey players at all levels to develop individual skills, self-confidence, and a love of the game. NYFH values teamwork and good sportsmanship while practicing and competing.
Fall Season 2024
Fall season registration for grades 1-5 is closed, but Newburyport middle school children can still sign up through the Athletic Department. Don't forget to purchase the necessary equipment, including a field hockey stick, shin guards, a mouth guard, and goggles. Longstreth or Dicks Sport Goods offers a starter kit that includes a bag, shin guards, stick, and ball.
Spring Season 2025
Spring clinic details will be announce in the beginning of next year. We plan on having a clinic one day per week for 6 weeks to develop their skills and have lots of fun.
